Connecting to the grid is particularly difficult at this point in time with many areas in UK constrained with little capacity available.

 

Our role is to work with the authority and the DNO to understand the issues and then create financial viable opportunities to connect. This can often include both an innovative and holistic approach to dealing with reinforcement issues and the introduction of IDNOs and IGTs. 

 

We are presently working with Cambridge Council to assess the grid issues and then create proactive solutions that permit developments to proceed, which then supports economic and social growth targets and CO2 reductions.

 

We have completed grid solutions assessments for the following councils : Bristol, Buckinghamshire, Central Bedfordshire, Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire Warwickshire and West Lindsey.
